No thanks. You were a key player in pushing Al Franken out without due process. Advancing your own political aspirations at the expense of fellow Dems is wrong.

There were 8 credible accounts against Al Franken. Senator Gillibrand did not "push" him out nor did she force him to do anything. She was spoke out. He didn't have to step down. He did it of his own accord. Blame the perpetrator.
-
There were *not* eight credible accounts against him. You and I both know that he was hyper aware of his comedic past and acted accordingly. Also, Sen Gillibrand lead the charge that if he didn't step down, she and others would block any and all of his proposed legislation.
-
There's no purpose in speculating what would have happened had he stayed, since he didn't. But yes, there were 8 credible accounts of groping and unsolicited kissing. It's a shame that an HRC supporter like yourself would defend him just bc you like him.
-
Nice try. I live in a state that, for now, has an incorruptible governor, and now an incorruptible former senator. I don't think you can say the same.
-
I simply ask that you consider that it is difficult to come forward with stories of sexual assault. Eight separate women did. We owe it to them to listen to them. What does it say when we excuse misconduct just because it was done by someone we like?
-
8 separate people came forward with stories; some may have been credible, others didn't seem so, but we'll never know b/c Gillibrand 'needed her voice to be heard', without extending that same courtesy to her colleague. She didn't do as well as she'd hoped to in this interview.

I voted for you. Even gave money to you. Now, I see how you’re hungry for power and how you reflexive helped drive the great
@alfranken out of office thereby jeopardizing the seat. You need to be held to account. Besides, I hear nothing from you: peddling on Colbert. Won’t watch.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Senator Franken is the one to blame. There were 8 credible accusations against him. He was not forced to resign, but chose to. Gillibrand simply spoke out. Blame Franken for his misconduct.

Disappointing that you refuse to listen to victims of sexual assault in this day and age just because you personally like the accuser. We as a country need to be better than that
