Would have had a better chance at defeating the nomination had you not chased
@alfranken out of office without an ethics hearing. Thanks for that... -
Franken, a Democrat, got replaced by a Democrat. So, no, it wouldn’t have. Stop making up excuses to defend a sexual harasser. And remember, no one can force anyone to resign. If Franken well and truly believed he were innocent, he would have sat the storm out and had a hearing.

Bull. Sometimes ppl judge its just not worth the fight never mind your thinking is how we get innocent folks railroaded Don't be so drunk w/power that you throw the baby out with the bath water We lost a good fighter b/c ppl didn't allow "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY"

@JohnMashey has the facts Senator, if you care to learn the facts surrounding the accusations falsely aimed at Franken. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. -
But wait a day or two until I've finished the summary meta-analysis, including (relevant) omitted details & questions the press either didn't ask or didn't report
-
Looking forward to more analytical details. I was at a Dem debate last eve for congressional caucus candidates and the natives want the facts/truth in SE MN. Thank you for all you do, John!
-
When someone applies for job, they may supply references (who likely will say good things), but good hiring managers try very hard to find others *not* supplied by applicant. How often did the press do the equivalent in these cases? Also, how many actual eyewitnesses reported?
-
That's one of the points in the
@columbiajourn report re: RS. There has to be effort for independent confirmation. Certainly WaPo worked hard for that with Moore before ever reporting a thing. Using sources only provided by the accusers themselves is extremely poor 'journalism'. -
Which report was that?
-
The one they wrote evaluating what happened with the bad Rolling Stone - UVA story. One of their points was to not get all/only confirmation sources _from_ the accuser. I can find the link again if you want?

"Religious Freedom" is another dog-whistle for the alt-christians trying to impose, through legislation, their very narrow interpretation of their bible. They do not believe any other Christian denomination, let alone another religion, shld hv the rights they alone should enjoy.

I love the irony of these titles: "religious freedom" being religious persecution for everyone who isn't whatever Brownback is (let's face it: we can't call him a Christian)

Literally the only good thing you can possibly say about this development is at least he can't be wrecking Kansas while he's doing this.

"Religious freedom" is clearly a euphemism

Trump continues his pattern of putting in department heads specifically to implode the department.

what he is doing is violating the oath he took when he put his hand on the bible an literally lied
