Its not
@SenGillibrand's fault that Franken assaulted women, shamed his office, and resigned. That was his doing. - 1 more reply

Thank you for your service. Please revisit rush to judgement on Franken. It will dog you forever. Fix it now!!!
-
Exactly. Many of us Dems will never forget how she (and her comrades) chose to railroad Al Franken in 2020.

And hopefully one of the things you'll come to believe in is equal justice, that an accusation cannot be accepted as truth without a complete, impartial finding of fact. An ethics hearing for Al Franken is a case in point.
-
Oh my. Isn't it time to move on?
-
Move on? Uh, no. Justice delayed is justice denied. Past behavior is the best indicator of future behavior. As a NY Democrat, I want to know if Sen. Gillibrand has modified her philosophy about hearings for the accused.
-
Then all accused should get a hearing, not just him. Maybe he could come up with a better explanation by then.
-
All accused, such as Aziz Ansari for example, should be given a hearing, not just deemed guilty because of an accusation. I would love to hear an explanation from Al Franken and to have a full and frank look at Leann Tweeden. I assume that's what a hearing would have produced.
-
And a hearing for Roy Moore then?
-
Not sure if we agree on what constitutes a "hearing", but absolutely I would want to hear Roy Moore's side of things. That coward hid and spoke primarily through his wife, attorney, and surrogates.
