I'd bet that Oprah wouldn't throw shade at the Clintons like you did. You could have made your point about sexual harassment without dredging up Bill's affair. The Clintons helped you and you threw them under the bus. Now you lost my respect and my vote.

Bet Oprah wouldn't backstab Al.
-
She so would not. I am still distressed over this. I STAND WITH AL. Kirsten needs to apologize.
-
She seriously hurt her chances for 2020.
-
UNfortnately she is my senator. I want her gone. Inexcusable lack of critical thought. She has hurt the me too movement and damaged herself. I adore Al Franken. Smartest senator and proud man. I am still upset.
-
I am also from New York, Al Franken was a stronger voice in the Senate we lost a gaint.
-
Why didn’t amy klobacher fight for him? I will never get over how my two senators stabbed him in the back for a hannity stone scheme. It was so obvious. And why no reporting on this on my favorite msnbc shows? No one supported the great al except for Sen manchin. Shocking

I agree! She took a movement to empower women & turned it into a weapon against one of the best Senators ever. She didn't do that with Schumer. They looked into the accusation & learned it was a hoax. Al was never given a chance to clear himself. Why the diff?

You left out her reference to "and phenomenal men" in this quote.

@SenGillibrand Please do the right thing and don't run. We need to unite with strong candidates with good judgment. New York deserves better than you. America deserves better than you. Your treatment of Al Franken was terrible. Let's do better.#NeverGillibrand - 1 more reply

It was an inspiring, rejuvenating and incredible speech...and it was soooo needed right now. But can we NOT politicize it by talking about Oprah for president? Can’t we just breathe and appreciate it for what it was... a shot in the arm for all of us!
-
I just feel like talking about a run for presidency is premature and lessening the “impact” of what she said in the here and now!!!!!
