DOJ should investigate how pharma helped create the opioid crisis, not institute policies that take marijuana based medicines from patients and needlessly target non-violent minority youths.

Don't forget about his private prison interests.
-
Exactly. If he cannot incarcerate for marijuana possession he does not make money.
-
My husband watches Live PD. Those cops love saying "Do I smell marijuana?" It's become a running joke in our house.
-
Especially if they are African American or Hispanics.
-
Oh my God yes. I've seen cops tell people how to talk. No. Just no.

Amen !!!!!!! Stand up against this mess!!!! Its not right! A little pompus that one man thinks he has the right to decide for all of us! Also funny, a party that preaches less government wants the govt to go back to locking up its citizens over consumption of a plant lmao
-
The GOP only wants government out of their pockets but wants government all up in your bedroom, living room, doctors office, etc. Just don’t touch the money.
-
That's pretty much spot on

Marijuana is a plant that has been around for centuries. Stop banning our vegetation. Go after corporate unregulated drug companies. They are making and pushing opioids on the people, increasing prices on non narcotic meds such as insulin, until they make a 1000% profit. Greed
. -
Regulate them to minimize the damage. Last time I had a Percocet rx filled it was under $7.00, my insulin costs over $300. There is a need for pain meds, marijuana or CBD oil, could be better choice for pain control.
-
Marijuana doesn't work for everyone in pain. I wish it did, I really do. But it sure doesn't for me... not even a little.
-
You need to speak with someone that really knows what they're dealing with, because it sounds to me like you're getting too much THC, and not enough CBD. CBDs are the pain relieving compounds in marijuana not THC.
-
I have.
-
Wow, sorry to hear that your not finding relief. To be honest, your the first I've ever come across, that hasn't found at least some improvement in symptoms.
-
I shouldn't imply there's zero benefit. It does help in the sleep dept &that's essential for healing process. Sleep is a big prob for me. For my back pain and headaches it's useless. But it does relax my constant "fight or flight" state.
-
So, for me at least, it would make a nice complimentary treatment. Not that it matters, cuz i live in WI and we don't even have med marijuana.

Not only that, it is shocking that we are simultaneously discussing the opioid crisis and cracking down on legal cannabis when the use of cannabis can greatly diminish the problem. It is a proven effective painkiller.
-
I agree with that as is the cannabidiol extractions. Paired with potent indigo strains, they can reduce opioid use markedly.
-
We've only just uncovered the tip of the iceberg in terms of the medicinal benefits of cannabinoids. Shit, we haven't even discovered all the CBDs yet. This is an untapped treasure of well-being that has been historically obscured by racism and big pharma greed.
-
I also believe the hemp industry will boom as well. Another untapped resource
