I have Q's about how the @SenFranken situation was handled. I think he was looking for due process & didn't get it. I don't know if I'm proud of the Democratic party on this one.

You shouldn't be. I re-registered Independent immediately after this awful mess. And I plan to campaign against her ever winning again!
-
I went unaffiliated. I can't trust anyone in either party right now.
-
& you shouldn't. Always be aware of the ppl you support, They can break your heart.

This we discovered....

It's not about shooting first and asking questions later. It's about being smart enough to tell the difference between a shoplifter and an armed robber. It's not about purity. It's about FAIRNESS. So disgusted with how you ramrodded Franken out of the Senate without due process.
-
Exactly! Where's the justice in all of this! Everyone standing for reelection must be asked the question did you stand up against Trump did you call for his resignation? The answer is going to be critical in the decision to vote for these candidates or not!
-
Dems need to realize that no purity test can hold in the long term. People want leaders who are smart, nuanced, and FAIR. We don't need anyone who does not believe in due process.
-
She has done good work, very true. She's also opportunistic and has a shitty barometer for which way the wind is blowing. She calculated that this would be a good move for her and she misfired badly.
-
you’re all conspiratorial misogynists for choosing to believe this with absolutely zero indication that it’s true, and i hope you feel shame.
-
No, Genius. What we're not are idiots who think that justice can be served by a zero-tolerance policy that does not distinguish between rape/abuse and putting a hand on a waist. It's idiotic and the purity test can not hold. We must insist on due process.

I believed in you until you threw Senator Franken under the bus. You led a witch hunt against him and rallied the troops to make a really good man leave a position he was brilliant at without ever considering that he many have been set up by the GOP. Where was his due process?
-
@SenGillibrand sees glory for herself. She started w President Clinton in attempt to rewrite history. She's a tool for herself. Bad for all women. -
I wonder when she’ll return Bill Clinton’s campaign cash???
@SenGillibrand didn’t take issue with Bill Clinton’s cash and endorsement. Hypocrisy - 1 more reply

You spoke for yourself; this time; not for most of us, even those of us who support the cause. Go read the remarks you've been getting from people, about your approach to Franken. Not favorable.
-
EXACTLY. This stunt was all about elevating her profile and eliminating a tough competitor for 2020.
-
They were both on my 2020 wish list.
@CoryBooker@sethmoulton and@KamalaHarris also called on him to resign. That was my entire list. :( -
I hear you. I wasn't too big of a KG fan so discovering her ruthless ambition isn't as painful as losing Al, but I was very excited about Kamala Harris. She was a DA and didn't even give her friend and colleague due process. SO disappointed in her.
-
I don't see anything about
@RepJoeKennedy calling for his resignation.@elizabethforma was late to jump on the resign bandwagon. At the end of the day, I'd still vote for any of them over a GOPshite but the primaries could get interesting. -
Joe Kennedy is stokin' the fantasies of the woke for sure.
And I agree, any of them over the steaming pile of
that is the GOP and maybe we'll see some fresh leadership emerge.
