I know how you and Chuck are voting. Unfortunately, Senators from other states will not be that interested in this New Yorker's opinion.

You have any friends in AZ or ME? Ask them to call Flake and Collins.
-
Unfortunately, no friends in those states. I know some people in Cal, but there Senators are already voting No.

You ARE my Senator. Thank you for voting no.
-
Same here. Thank you.
-
Same for me too. Which I thinks makes me feel more helpless.
@SenatorCollins &@SenMcCain have completely sold the average citizen out and do not care. -
She could be the one to kill the bill. She hasn't said yes.

ALL HANDS ON DECK! Congress: 202-224-3121. Takes 2 min. You'll hear a message, enter your zip code, you're directed to your state reps vm, pick rep, hear their personal message ALL the way through, leave passionate voice mail: "VOTE NO ON TAX BILL!" (Speak quickly, vm's short!)

I'm afraid. My daughter is afraid. We are frightened by our own government. Thank you for being a voice of sanity and compassion.

I probably benefit from the bill (depending on final draft). But it's horrible legislation and will do real damage to our country. I don't want it.
-
They are cutting current deduction for state and local income or sales taxes. CA, NJ, and NY are all affected.
-
I said depending on draft. I'm FUCKED if the SALT exemption is out
-
Gotcha. I don't think they will take it out. We just have to hope that three of them put out this dumpster fire.
-
it's not in the House bill and House Rs are much more vulnerable than Senate Rs (since no R Senators from NY/NJ/CA)
-
We had asshole Republican Reps vote for this. It's insane.
-
I'd be surprised if SALT repeal makes the final bill
