Responsible chronic pain sufferers who depend on meds to function, to work, can't be made to suffer in the rush to solve this "crisis."

Blessings to you for this. 10 years of Rheumatoid Disease and pain 24/7. Have NEVER taken one damned pill over my dosage but we will suffer. I’m scared way more by this than a war.
-
If this crusade against our necessary medication continues, we’ll have to use attorneys to force doctors to provide medical care.
-
Yet so many are given them unnecessarily.
-
Yes way too many. Instead of making the people that are responsible & need these to live at a level of normal feel like we are just junkies looking for a high. It’s been a very long time since a “high” from them. I just want to get out of bed in the morning w/o tears.
-
I make no judgements about people and their lives. Best wishes to you.

Medical marijuana has helped so many in this regard.
-
I agree. For 3 years it has helped me since being diagnosed w/ MS 17 yrs w/ widespread chronic pain, after years of opioids-only way to go
-
2/2 Idea!! Let's start a hashtag for people who've benefited from medical marijuana. Something like
#MMhelpedme -
MMJ would probably be recognizable
-
Yes it would!
#MMJ -
Unfortunately, there has been almost no studies that have documented the pain relieving effects of cannibis...scheduling needs to change!
-
Indeed, science needs to catch up with the thousands of anecdotes.

This penalizes chronic pain patients who are already suffering unimaginably. We need to protect their access to these meds to manage pain.

Sorry but for those already addicted we need addiction rehab programs/that takes $$ & professionals/but tax cuts for wealthy are important
-
This! And the cuts to social services drastically impacts those who can enroll and treat those affected!
-
This is what people voted for/cut in social services to cut taxes for wealthy
-
This is why people are panicking over a horse running out of the barn. What were State caseloads in family services & how many went to pros?
-
Caseloads are outrageously high no matter where you are/people need services professionals assistance/all will be cut & no new $$$ added
