Sure, why not? It's only "fair". Let taxpayers pay. It's only "fair"...

Love how Republicans are all about strong families, except when they're not. Which is most of the time.
-
When does the "free everything" end? How exactly will this make families stronger?
-
If u can't figure out how bonding w/ a newborn child for a few weeks before returning to work helps build strong families, ur beyond help.
-
We are entitled to family leave up to 8 weeks. You want it paid. That's where you are putting the burden on others.
-
Not at all. Paid family leave provides a multitude of societal benefits. That argument is the same one used against paying school taxes.
-
I'm not necessarily against it but what happens if someone abuses the system. Ex: you take 8 weeks with pay & then decide not to go back
-
It's not paid by employers. It's 100% employee funded. So not a problem. In fact, leaving a job will happen LESS frequently.

Yes, if you want to round out the bottom.

Because unpaid maturity leave and having to pay out of pocket for COBRA when on FMLA is making the top 2% USA great!
