17 years later, the death toll continues to rise. The devastating fact is more NYPD officers have lost their lives since 9/11 because of the toxins they inhaled at Ground Zero than died on the day of the attacks. FDNY keeps losing more of our finest.

Our job is not done. As we near the expiration of the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund in 2020, we must work together to renew this essential program without delay. We have a moral obligation to continue to stand by every single one of these heroes.
