The government cannot compel you to donate blood to me, even if it will save my life. You have ultimate control over your body regardless of whether its contents would save or sustain the life of another. Women should be afforded that same right.

How is giving blood equivalent? I'm a conservative, disagree with abortions being funded by the government. Is all
-
Google the Hyde Amendment. Tax dollars are not used to fund abortions

The right to control your own body should be the right of every woman, the same as it is for every man. THAT is the fight we constantly have to wage. That is the fight that never ends for women. THAT is the fight that needs to be settled now for ALL time. DONE. OVER. SETTLED.

Yes, it’s amazing that a man who knows nothing about you can decide for you that you will grow a child in your stomach (regardless of incest, rape, medical issues for jmother or child, poverty, age, incapability & decide your life, while they take away its healthcare & food stamps

Question: Why don’t the American Medical Association issue a statement stating, “A woman’s medical health is a private concern between a woman and her doctor”
-
Health? Abortion is health?

Basic right? Then let’s give it back to the states to decide. I happen to live in a state that does not support murdering unborn children. You can fill your sanctuary cities with more clinics to handle the out of state influx of baby killers.
-
You’re for the baby-jailers, and baby-healthcare-deniers. Way to go! And basic constitutional rights should not be legislated away by state or local government. Trust women to decide who to share their bodies with.
-
I’m neither. It isn’t about who they trust their bodies with. It’s what they do with the result of who they trust their bodies with. Those babies didn’t get a say in the process. Killing them is not the solution.
-
Share, as in provide life support to. That’s a woman’s choice. The potential life affected doesn’t have a say, any more than a random adult can demand life support from you.
-
If you are comparing a random person to the life you helped to create then we won’t agree. I don’t know if you have children but if you do I hope they don’t feel that way.
-
I have 2 lovely children, one male, one female. Both respect women’s full autonomy as human beings. Both are glad I survived the miscarriage I had between their births, and got good medical care instead of a police investigation. Women’s bodies belong to us first, at ALL times.
-
I know firsthand what it takes to grow another person inside my body - the risks and the amazing rewards. It’s not an experience to be forced on unwilling participants by the government.
-
Thank you for that. Your children were all wonderfully made and you will see your other baby some day. Life is so precious and you understand that. I wish you and your family great blessings in your life
