We’re fighting like our most basic rights are at stake – the rights to an abortion and to have control over our own bodies. We’re fighting like our lives are on the line. Because they are. Let’s get this job done. Let’s #StopKavanaugh.

Kavanaugh had been quoted saying that Roe v. Wade is legal precedent, it's not going anywhere. Considering you endorse sanctuary city policies, I'm not surprised though to hear ridiculous rhetoric coming from you on this topic too.

Then why do his leaked emails say otherwise?

Here is the quote I believe you are referring to, “I am not sure that all legal scholars refer to Roe as the settled law of the land at the Supreme Court level since Court can always overrule its precedent, and three current Justices on the Court would do so.”

So his emails don't actually say otherwise, he is merely referencing the facts that not all legal minds are in agreement regarding the ruling in the case. Also, is it absurd to question a ruling that allows essentially unfettered access to a method of killing another human being?

If is not absurd. What is absurd is pretending that his statement of fact in any way indicates that he would not overturn it a the first possibilitiy. We know he would try to stop abortions since that is what he did in fact in the Garza case.

I believe your feelings on this topic are anything but objective given your background, but from the perspective of a strict constitutionalist like Kavanaugh, Roe v. Wade would only warrant being overturned because it should have been decided by individual states and not the feds

On this subject, absolutely. I can not get pregnant, and Roe v. Wade being overturned would not affect me one way or another. Is this the part where you tell me what MY beliefs are?

Abortion is more basic than freedom of speech association assembly press or bearing arms? Where exactly is the right to an abortion mentioned in the text?

No one has suggested it is a more basic freedom than the others you listed. The basis for the decision hinged on privacy. A reasonable question is whether you want the government to decide whether or not you can have a vasectomy or a transfusion. Are you ready to cede that choice

Some would disagree. Some have claimed the sperm must not be "wasted". Thus the prohibition of masturbation. But good point. You bring up the subjectivity of when human life begins. Release of sperm and egg? At conception? At implantation? With heart beat? Quickening? Viability?

When human life begins is not subjective. All science confirms absolutely and objectively that a human life begins when sperm and ovum fuse, forming a new, complete, unique, living, self-directedly growing, human being.

No Senate should ever confirm a Supreme Court candidate nominated by a president under investigation for conspiring with a foreign enemy to win election, and then lying about it to cover it up. Especially if the nominator is a psychopath. GOP fails us. #WhereisJudgeGarlandhearing
