It's not a "valuing women" problem it's a poverty problem! Why do you continue to press the narrative that men in this country hate women (has to be men b/c women obviously wouldn't do anything to hurt themselves) Why aren't you addressing the issue of poverty & single mothers!

This was also an issue under the Obama administration and I never heard a peep out of you Kirsten. It appears what is driving you now to start pushing to help more women is your hatred for Trump. Imagine if you hated Obama as well you would have 8 years prior to help.

But what about all those millions of dollars we are already spending at Planned Parenthood. .??
-
This has nothing to do with that. You are a bit lost. This is about mothers who die bleeding out after delivering babies in hospitals. Please educate yourself

Kirsten, WTF kind of statement is that? So can you finally admit that ObamaCare (ACA) is a complete failure?
-
Affordable Care Act, Universal Health Care, Medicare for All, don’t you see the good for all concerned in these models. Work together to take care of everyone, poorest to richest all contribute, it’s the answer in an ever increasing population
-
I see Socialism; a direct assault on my freedom, individualism & personal responsibility & choices. If you want everyone to be taken care of, move to Venezuela or North Korea; even most EU countries have rationing.

No, the reason maternal mortality is up is NOT because society doesn’t value women, it’s because women don’t value themselves. Pregnancy at younger ages, no prenatal care, drug and alcohol use during pregnancy, increased preexisting maternal dx Facts matter

If maternal mortality is on the rise it is due to personal health choices or poor medical services. This does not mean universal healthcare it means there is an underlying cause. I wonder if the women that have died giving birth ever had an abortion.
