Today, on #BlackWomensEqualPay Day, we recognize that as we fight for women’s rights, women of color face ever greater injustices, including an even larger wage gap. While women make $0.80 for every dollar a white, non-Hispanic man makes, black women make just $0.63.

In New York City, wage inequality for women of color is even worse. Black women make just $0.57 for every dollar paid to a white man. We can’t achieve true equality until every woman, no matter her race, gets equal pay for equal work.https://www.wsj.com/articles/pay-disparity-worsens-for-black-women-in-new-york-city-report-finds-1533591875 …

We win this fight by making sure everyone has a seat at the table. That means hiring more women of color to leadership positions. It means electing more women of color to high office. These are critical voices in our fight for equality, and we won’t get there without them.pic.twitter.com/o5YssUC9rk

Liberal NYC has pay inequality? No way. You mean liberal controlled cities like Chicago are not utopian societies of safety and prosperity? Why do Democrat cities suck so much for the average working people who live there?

The rest of that tweet was quite scathing... in no way should anyone take that LAST LINE OF MY TWEET to infer I am saying Gillibrand was telling the truth. Quite the opposite. Hopefully, the rest will show up. But don't hold your breath... 😠

How about we tackle the real problem here, education. Black women (and men might I add) are significantly more likely to drop out or choose a career path that will not allow them to get a higher paying job.

Why do you want equality of outcomes! Please explain. Where in nature are all equal? America is all about equal opportunity- absolutely NOT equal outcomes. That is unnatural.
