Democrats need to quit trying to raise my taxes or tax me for something i may never use. The social security paid family leave is the way to go.

Democrats love to pretend & promise we can have everything; which is why we're 20 trillion $ in debt with little or nothing to show for it

As a good Democrat, you believe that money grows on trees. My parents taught me that this is not so when I was 5 years old!

Off topic..but where do you stand on Jim Jordan? Love to hear you call for his resignation as loudly as you did for Al Franken.

We have it in NY and it's employee funded.. Seems to work and oh yeah it costs me whopping $2.70 every two weeks, and that is the max I need to pay to get paid family leave. Its very doable.. and sustainable..

Le me know what your property taxes are after the free tuition BS is instituted
-
It's been implimented for 2years now. Has had no impact on my property taxes, as those are local, in fact I got a ,600 rebate last year from my property taxes last year.

Are you kidding, the government is telling us seniors that Social security and Medicare is going broke. So there is no way we can add another government program, it sound nice but we cannot afford it.
-
#Millennials are already watching helplessly as our SS and Medicare payments essentially go up in flames. No reason to pay into any more gvt. subsidized Ponze schemes. The free market can and always has handled leave, and should continue to do so.

For that matter, reasonable sick leave for employees at places like Walmart and fast food chains should be mandatory. As it is, if an employee at Walmart or McDonalds gets sick or injured, they get fired. So they go to work sick and spread it to co-workers & customers.

Thank you from leading the charge and for NY being an example for the rest oft county. The development of the NY plan is covered in detail in ZERO WEEKS, the first film on America's paid leave crisis, and is available here: https://www.videoproject.com/Zero-Weeks.html pic.twitter.com/MdziG2amvw
