The #EqualPayAct was passed 55 years ago, but the pay gap still exists. Gender or race should never impact your paycheck. This discrimination hurts women, working families and our economy. That’s why we need to pass the #PaycheckFairnessAct to ensure equal pay, no matter what.

Where is the proof of this "pay gap" of which you speak?

Proof is in the heart of course... "Cognito ergo sum" actually meant: "I think I'm being paid less because I'm a woman, therefore I am."

How many employment contract negotiations you have been privy to? During these negotiations, women have different priorities (geo constraints, remote, hours etc). Yet, all you focus on is the BOTTOM DOLLAR? I thought anti-capitalists frowned on this line of thinking #equalpayact

Also recent BLS stats indicate that women are promoted MORE than men. I say this because they occupy more management positions than men. I feel sorry for women who feel they are victims to an invisible glass ceiling. Invisible oppression is bad for the psyche. #EqualPayAct

Let it be written across every TV, every mobile device, on coffee shop & church doors the names of every legislator who votes against #EqualPayAct. Remember, remember those names in November.

Just The Facts, your twitter name is comically ironic, since the "pay gap" is long debunked, and also kinda tragic: "Think not, fear not" .. Is that your state of being, or a DNC sales pitch? #EqualPayAct

There is no evidence that any pay gap is caused by discrimination.
