  11. Our letter to Secretary Perdue opposed this action and pushed for continued protections for America’s largest old-growth forest. The Senate should pass the Roadless Area Conservation Act to preserve the Tongass National Forest and other forests like it.

  12. The Trump administration’s decision to open up the Tongass National Forest to logging and development isn’t based in science or facts. This move is also opposed by native tribes in the region. I strongly oppose this decision and urge the administration to reverse course.
