There are so many loving families & individuals who want to adopt. So many roadblocks, though. Single men & women, gay couples, mixed-race families, etc. Kids don't care who mom & dad are, as long as they're treated as equals and given all the love so many foster kids never had.

Most people cannot afford to pay the tens of thousands of dollars the agencies want for an adoption. The system reeks of human trafficking.

There is room for improvement but worse conditions in other states who don’t besides a test and a program they must pass still do it for the money for them not the child or when I worked for the group homes even the over worked social workers and guardian @ lighten so overwhelmed

I use to work as a mental health clinician in CO and so much more protection needed at least that state because maybe if lucky less than I could count on one hand full of good homes rest just used money wrong way. I know CA is different but not all states on same page. Sad

This in...there are children handed to those that have criminal background &record...care to care about these children & individuals or is this too much of a cost/inconvenience to you, Congress &the Oval Office.
