The Justice Department is not an arm of the White House. The Justice Department is independent and serves the American people. Its job is to follow the facts and the law. Law enforcement investigations must be initiated and carried out free from political interference.

Who appoints the AG who runs the DOJ?...ummm, let me help you out — POTUS appoints the AG, who heads the DOJ....sounds like the Executive Branch is kinda like the Boss here...how the hell have you stayed in Congress for 94 years?...smh

The people who are appointed swear to uphold the law, not swear blind allegiance or servitude to the current or any president. The term boss is misplaced in this situation. Everyone in office, regardless of level is a public servant.
