We're old enough to remember the yellow air that stung our eyes and smog alerts where we had to stay inside. Don't want to go back to those days. I like being able to breathe and see Catalina from Griffith Park Observatory on a sunny day.

When it hurt to breathe! I was going between Los Angeles and San Diego as a kid. You could see the smog bank driving North to LA. You could feel the difference in your lungs. It was just horrible.
