I am so tired of the working poor getting no credit for the work they do. Republicans are against raising the minimum wage, yet want to take away any program that helps working people. It is beyond belief that the working poor can’t earn a living wage.

The thing missing in this argument is how cutting SNAP not only hurts those of us who need it, it also hurts those who produce the food.

What does it say of our culture that a full-time job is ever insufficient to provide even a small family with food and shelter? Or that the phrase "working poor" even exists.

It is so darned frustrating that those who work harder than a lot of others, laborers, etc., but can't get a decent wage, are looked at as not trying, not doing their best. That's simply not true. The Farm Bill by Repubs is just another hateful way of causing more pain to ppl.

Senator, been thinking about how many families could be fed with the $130,000 dining table Ben bought, or the millions Pruitt spent on luxury travel, or the $1,000,000 shopping junkets Munchkin went on.

Or how much the good senator could help by being charitable. Blah blah blah. Democrats. Always taking and never giving unless it’s to an illegal.
