Wow. Reading replies to this tweet really makes me sad about the state of humanity and compassion in our country. It seems to be gone. I think it went away at the pulpit of Evangelical Christian teaching, which is simply just teaching people how to hate.
It's unacceptable that young children are being separated from their families at the border. Not only is it un-American and inhumane, but it has the potential to irreparably harm the child.
