Today, the National Memorial for Peace and Justice opens in Montgomery, Ala. It documents our country’s history of white supremacy and lynchings, one of the least recognized atrocities in our past. This is a historic moment and an acknowledgement of a past often forgotten.

The history is heart wrenching. God bless those victims and their families. We must remember so as to never let our selves slip into complacency most especially in the current times with all the dog whistles and the political climate.
The least recognized would be what was done to Native Americans that you and your ilk have gladly kept corralled on reservations addicted to drugs and alcohol with the highest rate of infant mortality of any group. My God, you SUCK!! Just go away.
