I disagree, clean up the streets in our state that are riddled with our own homeless/refugees, we cannot handle that problem, let alone compounding it with more ppl who do not have jobs, know the language, have an education, etc. we have to start moving in the other direction.

The US could do better still. Sweden took in over 51'000 refugees from Syria in 2016, and over 22'000 in 2017. Sweden has a population of 10 million people. And No, crime has not gone up drastically during the recent years. It has both gone up and down with small margins.

Though these numbers aren't that strange, since Europe is a lot closer and easier to reach from the Middle East. But it does put things in percpective.
