Secretary Zinke’s decision to raise national park entrance fees is the wrong approach to fixing the @NatlParkService maintenance backlog. Our bill, the National Park Service Legacy Act, would address the backlog without raising entrance fees for national park visitors.

National Park visitors spent approx. $18.4 billion in local economies in 2016, supporting more than 300,000 jobs. This fee increase will make it harder for families to visit their parks, hurting the local economies of the communities around the parks

serious question....why are we not starting up the WPA & the CCC and get people working on park maintenance and infrastructure builds and rebuilds? Put people to work, they earn money, keep their self respect & things get DONE! It worked before, why not now? Thx

This is just like raising minimum wage. Don’t you think our national parks are worth the money? How are the parks supposed to make a living, pay mortgage, car, Heathcare…
