The GOP wants to balance the budget on the backs of the average working American. All while giving the mega wealthy more corporate welfare. This GOP doesn't care about the average person. All they care about is winning elections and they need their Mega wealthy donors to do that
Republicans control the House, Senate and White House – if they really wanted to balance the budget, they could. But a constitutional amendment won’t eliminate the hard choices that Republicans have repeatedly refused to grapple with.
