According to a new nonpartisan government report, Republicans are ballooning the deficit, in large part because of their $1.5 trillion tax cut for the wealthy that they refused to pay for. We can’t return to $1 trillion deficits, especially not on the backs of working Americans.

By design. Koch's as you're very aware are in charge. This is the "reason" they're pushing Republican Governors to vote for Constitutional Convention. Under the guise of a balanced budget they'd vote away our republic. We wouldn't be able to vote. That's not democracy.
