I believe we can finally end this epidemic of gun violence. I have great hope in this new generation of young leaders. They marched in over 800 different cities, millions of people over the weekend and they are eager for a change.

Gun homicides down 49% from the 1990’s. Currently 2.9 per 100k killed by gun violence. 1990’s, 7.9 per 100k. US already on the right track. More guns in our country then ever and gun crime is going down! Assault Weapons only account for 150 deaths out of 11,000. FBI stats.

I being a person still going to school did not participate in the rally. I also have a reason, not to as students are missing valuable class time. Finally, the rally was not just students protesting, it was funded by huge liberal companies influencing our next generation.
