With all due respect @SenFeinstien, why is Backpage still around at all? Congress has known about it for years.

The ACLU supports the complete decriminalization of sexwork. Shutting down our advertising sites will force us back on the streets. Our work is much safer indoors using the internet to advertise

I’m a constituent & your support of this bill worries me. On its face it looks like a no-brainer, but this bill could easily lead to over censorship on the internet & may make it harder for victims to reach out for help. This bill is also harmful to sex workers. Pls reconsider!

This legislation makes blacklists illegal, which will result in sex workers getting raped and losing their lives. You are hurting, not helping, and you are disgusting.

When have marginalized/vulnerable people ever been made safer by being driven deeper underground? This is exactly the effect that SESTA will have. It will hurt the very people it purports to help. It also severely undermines free speech protections for all online platforms.

Both sex workers AND those who fight sex trafficking are against this bill. I voted for you more than once, but I'm going to start supporting a primary challenger against you that is better on important issues like this.
