I have been in pain management for 35 years, everything from Demerol to Hydro . I use 30 to 45 pills per year, clearly not an abuser. But now I have to battle to get what I need. Please don't throw the baby out with the bath water?

Please do protect legitimate access. It’s hard enough as it is to get a decent pain management specialist and there are too many pill farms. When you report one, you get blacklisted from other pain management practices. And they are few and far between.

BTW: I suffered cancer pain & worse - the pain from radiation treatments - Due to DEA rules getting my pain med’s was a huge difficulty on top of cancer, chemo, radiation, & daily appointment.

Dianne I must use my pain medicine for a upper back problem. I watch my intake and follow my drs orders to the letter. I have cut my intake by 75% which my dr is very happy about. Parents need to lock up their medicines and protect their children

I’m disabled. I have to have meds or I literally can’t get out of bed. I already have a hard time getting my prescriptions because assholes misuse it. Not all of us r drug addicts. We r the ones getting punished. The ones addicted always find what they need.

They’ve found combining a low dose of opioid and cannabis works well but some people go with using CBD only.
