No problem to fix - do away with ALL GUN FREE ZONES, arm teachers that "want to be armed and can pass the training" and harden the targets just like we did our airplanes. But also consider this - how many of the teachers & staff could pass the background checks?

As a professional public school educator, I assure you that most of my colleagues who want to be armed would pass the background checks. I’m teaching English to 12th graders. Senioritis is a disease. My eyes flashing disapproval is my weapon of choice.

Big whup Dianne, I grew up in the shadow of complete nuclear annihilation. If you want communities to be safe, then get the hell out of the way and let Americans do what they do best, fix it without government intervention.

I think Democrats depriving students of learning to exercise some political purpose that you support is an abuse of power and a crime against schools.
