It’s not racist to detain those who have broken laws. Correlation is not equivalent to causality.
Reports from the @latimes that 26 farmworkers were arrested by ICE last week are deeply troubling. Workers who contribute to our country shouldn’t be targeted for deportation just to score political points. We must pass my bill to provide farmworkers a path to citizenship.

Americans are going to start feeling the impact of this deportation at the grocery store and in the pocketbook and it will be too late. Inhumanity always has paybacks!

I have no problem paying more at the store if the workers are here legally and are paid a fair wage. I have issue with people working illegally, farmers paying pennies on the dollar and grocery stores making a profit
