The bill of rights gives you...rights. The bill of rights is part of the constitution. So the constitution gives you rights?

Wrong. The bill of rights only acknowledges rights that you already have. What the bill of rights actually does is prohibits the government from infringing on those rights.

I think all politicians should have to pass a civics test AND must be able to recite the Constitution and all Amendments before they can even be put on the ballot.
