also close the boyfriend loophole that means it may not be listed as DV and enact the Red Flag law in every state. That red flag may have made all the difference for FL.

Every gun also needs to be registered to it's owner. Once sold, the registration transfers, just like a car, and through the secretary of state. Also, just like a car, a gun owner needs liability insurance for each gun. Anyone shot or killed by the gun, can collect insurance $$.

"...close the loophole that allows sales to proceed if background checks are not completed in 72 hours. " so what happens then, if the FBI doesn't complete background checks? Now good people can't get guns because the FBI won't do it's job, just like in Parkland, FL.

You can’t wait more than three days to receive a proper background check when purchasing a gun? You care more about how quickly people get their firearms than making sure they pass a proper background check?? How?

With all due respect, you HAVE to include HIPAA disclosure gateways to law enforcement to give doctors the ability to report patients that may he a threat to themselves or to others. HIPAA restrictions in their current form bar that mechanism.

Yes private sellers at gun shows or anywhere... all buyers need to pass the background check no matter who they buy from!
