It’s simple.... US citizens do not need military style weapons! Ban all of them!
Here are the facts: Our current assault weapons ban covers specific weapons AND weapons that accept a detachable magazine and have ONE military characteristic. The 1994 ban required two characteristics. Our current bill IMPROVES upon on the 1994 bill. #StudentsStandUp

Can you please explain how that will lower the rates of HANDGUN injuries/deaths in our country? I think it would be more effective and efficient to enact common sense federal restrictions. Such as: mandatory training/certification and periodic re-certification waiting periods universal background checks mental health screening and registration mandates
