In every single mass shooting that has occurred, there were warning signs. Every. Single. One. Acts like this do not happen spontaneously - there are always indications beforehand. The trick is recognizing the warning signs, and acting accordingly.
In shooting after shooting, friends and families have seen the warning signs that the shooter may commit an act of violence. I’ve introduced a bill that would help states that want to create a legal avenue for families to obtain gun violence prevention orders. #StudentsStandUp

Sadly, it is not really about catching the mentally ill - rather, its about the number of guns in society - now around 300 million of them. Suicides, accidental shootings, and crime make up the numbers more than the deranged. So it is about getting rid of guns
