You obviously have never been in a war zone. Shootings don’t happen in their schools, they do in a war zone. But why should we not do everything in our power to protect our kids? We protect everything of value and importance with Guns. Kids are the most important.

They actually do meet the def. of assault rifles as they have detachable magazines & collapsible scopes. Further, they can be upgraded to shoot at a much greater rate w/ accessories as advertised by ArmaLite. The kinetic energy of a bullet from 1 is much higher than a reg. rifle.

San Bernardino here. I actually went to work at my hospital in lock-down that day where the victims had been brought, broken and terrified, for treatment. One victim took 3 bullets & lived. He was on my unit for 3 weeks.
