An assault weapons ban was in place for 10 years. Republicans allowed it to expire and we’ve been fighting to get it reinstated ever since. Military-style weapons are slaughtering our children and it’s got to stop. #GunReformNow

If you’re that afraid of the US Government you should just get an underground shelter and hole up in it. You do know that this generation of kids will be much more intolerant of the 2nd Amendment than today’s activists. Better to compromise now on assault weapons.

Assault weapon is a term you and your pals just made up to push an Agenda. you are either incapable of being truthful or simply a political opportunist, the fact remains that these "scary looking" rifles are no more dangerous than others. Meaningful change comes through honesty
