With all do respect, Senator, they got rid of it in 2016 when they refused to even talk to Merrick Garland. They stole a SCOTUS seat, now, since they got away with it, they’re making it official.
A big part of the Senate's responsibility to “advise and consent” on judicial nominees is the blue-slip tradition. It gives senators the opportunity to have a say on nominees from their states. It's worked for 100 years, but Republicans are getting rid of it. #CourtsMatter

Republicans want to pack every judicial open seat & to do that they are removing the voices of anyone with a dissenting opinion. Like the tax scam they passed, they didn’t invite any amendment. This has never been the way these appointments were set up to happen. Vote GOP out.
