But...the DACA recipients wouldn’t be in this mess had not for the broken immigration system, so I think that we should fix the immigration system to ensure this doesn’t happen ever again, and let the DACA recipients stay. That makes a lot of sense, I don’t see the issue.

Actually their own parents brought this mess on them rather than doing it legally. But democrats are muddying the water by refusing to any type of compromise. They shut the government down because them. Time is running out. I resent that they come before our citizens.
