The meeting is from 3-7 pm at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria on I Street in Sacramento. If you can attend, I encourage you to go and tell them California doesn’t want offshore oil drilling. #NoDrillNoSpill

You can also leave a comment for President Trump on the link below. California has been fighting offshore oil drilling for nearly 50 years. We’re NOT going to relent now. https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/NoOffshoreOilDrilling …

For those yapping about Sacramento, yes, she knows it's the capitol. The hundreds of miles is referring to where they would most likely want to do the drilling. But nice deflections from the issue. Most of us don't want another Santa Barbara catastrophe in CA!

I don’t support drilling off of any coast, should transition from fossil fuels as fast as we can. The statement said “the coast,” not where the drilling was planned- yes, likely central/southern CA coast. Just noting it as I do live in Sacramento.

Hundreds? Hardly. Also, Sacramento is the state's capital. ALSO, you all make decisions in D.C. every day that affect me here in CA and that I have no say in and you don't bat an eye
-
You do have a say. Pick up a phone and make yourself heard. Often

You clearly don't understand how much revenue we get from lovely beaches and healthy fish. Oil is not the best use of our coasts.

We must do every thing to prevent drilling off our shores. The damage done last time took years to clean up.
