Too many Americans don’t benefit from Family and Medical Leave Act protections because they can’t afford to take time off. The FAMILY Act would change that, and we need to pass it. #FMLA25

My sister just got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer & they said they can only hold her job for 3 months. Doctor said treatment will be at least 6 months...
-
That's horrible. All the best to your sister.

I lost my job of 15 yrs because my doctor’s office lost my FMLA paper work and had to resubmit it. I have a daughter with Crohns disease and had 2 bouts of panchriatitis at the age of 16. People should not have to be punished for paperwork mistakes. Lost ins with job.

It depends how long, who pays for this? There is no fairy godmother. Under liberal policies I have had to sell a house, have had to leave my state because of taxation. What more do you want from us? For sure none of this has affected you personally or anyone you work with

What about the other side to it? My sister just got diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's & they said they can only hold her job for 3 months. So, now she will go on disability & your taxes will help pay for it. Thank you.
