I'm thrilled to hear that @SenDuckworth is expecting her second child. Her ability to meet the demands of work and family is inspiring. As a country, we need to do more to help all mothers do the same.

As a working mom who constantly struggles with work, family and all the roles I believe are important I’m inspired by the show of support for

Truly I wish we could look at models from other countries, Norway for example lol, they actually support their working mothers with paid parental leave, universal healthcare, pay equality...I’m sad we can’t manage the same here.

Who has open borders? The US, as does Norway, have vetting processes, immigration laws and strict paths to entry and citizenship like any responsible country....

It wouldn't be "inspiring" if sexist politicians would simply get the hell out of our way. Why does doing a job and raising a family require such heroic effort!?

She is an active veteran who lost both legs in Iraq. I think that was in reference to her determination to live life without regret, chase kids and still serve her country despite any limitations being a double amputee might present. But hey that is just me.
