Republicans came up with a government funding bill at the very last minute that ignores many of our highest-priority needs, including passing the Dream Act and coming up with a long-term solution for children’s health insurance.
I hope that Republicans will finally realize this isn’t the right way to govern. You’re not representing the country when you govern one month at a time and rush through poorly-written bills that only benefit certain special interests.

Senator, you are acutely aware of what the Republican agenda is. Whether you agree or not, you can choose to work within that framework and still accomplish many good things. Or, you can just whine and complain like Chuck. I hope you choose the former. We need some Dem leadership
