(1/4) My town hall at First AME Church in South L.A. gave me an opportunity to reflect on the pain that engulfed the community 25 years ago.

(2/4) First AME Church was the place I visited in the aftermath of L.A.’s civil unrest in 1992. It was an emotional, difficult time.
(3/4) We still have work to do, but community leaders in L.A. have committed to stop divisiveness by confronting it together.
