  WHAT THE HELL COULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN THIS CASE? Shooter used a handgun. Shooter is 16. It is illegal in California for a minor to possess a handgun. California has universal background checks. High school was a 'gun free zone'. I say again WHAT THE HELL COULD HAVE BEEN DONE?

  mass shootings statistically occur for two reasons: gang violence and 'gun free' zones. If you have a gun free zone you have to protect those inside with pro security, otherwise you've created a shooting gallery for crazy people. Wouldn't hurt if more fathers stuck around...
