Actually, Type I diabetes cannot be managed with lifestyle change. Affordable insulin is the only solution.

I am a Whipple survivor/success. Officially I'm not Type 1, but I only have half a pancreas. Insulin is my only way as well. Injections at least 4-5 times a day.

Every single human on this planet requires insulin to live. Diabetics are overwhelmingly being priced out of our lives because our elected officials have failed to end the deadly practice of price gouging on life saving medication like insulin, and that’s the real issue.

And Dianne is opposed to single payer #MedicareForAll and taking on big pharma, & the #GreenNewDeal One look through her campaign contributions tells you everything you need to know about why nothing ever gets done.https://www.opensecrets.org/members-of-congress/summary?cid=N00007364&cycle=2018&type=I …

Type 1 is manageable only if a person has consistent access to insulin. This is currently not the case for many people in the US with Type 1. In fact many needlessly die because insulin is unaffordable here. It is shameful, tragic and preventable. #insulin4all

Many Type 2 diabetics require insulin to live as well. (I’m one of them.) Let’s not limit this. #diabetes #insulin4all

Mrs. Senator as a #T1D and former CA firefighter with premiums/out of pocket over $16,000 year to STAY ALIVE, I respectfully disagree with your tweet. People are dying in the U.S. regularly because insulin is unaffordable, please focus on that! #Insulin4all #MedicareForAll

Recommending "life style changes" while allowing pharmaceutical companies to raise insulin prices over and over again and giving insurers free rein to deny lifesaving drugs + medical equipment to their customers is the definition of chutzpah. For shame!
