I think the same could be said for career out of touch politicians.

Another industry that has been taken over by greed. Plain and simple. Breeding practices are ridiculous, track medicine is appalling, and all for money. No longer the Sport of Kings, it should be banned.

The problem seems to be localized mostly at Stronach's Santa Anita. The rest of the tracks do not have that problem and do employ many people.

Protection for both is vital, especially the horses. Jockeys make choices, the horses don't. They don't make the decision to run, for human profit. They are run too young by using artificial dates. I don't consider that humane, or fair to the horses.

That's a huge jump for a sport that encompasses huge geographical areas, on different surfaces & employs thousands of people. Take a step back from this Senator. Start by recognising that 1. the track has been relaid. 2. Recognise that Owners/trainers/regulators are pro safety

Be careful...what will you do with all of those horses. Who takes the burden of care. Horses need jobs, there is no farming....On average 500 horses out of tens of thousands break down each year. And while ALL of them are heartbreaking...we don't look at the 32 million cows
