This is nothing short of ridiculous- PG&E needs to be forced to bury every damned power line and not give one cent to shareholders or bonuses or CEO overcompensation. We’re all sick of this. The State should take it over.

Our power was cut off yesterday afternoon and we were awoken at 3am by the smell of smoke from a wildfire. No internet or cell service to find out cause or communication because power was cut! Thankful to be safe.

Senator Feinstein, , How long will PG&E be allowed to keep shutting power off? People with medical needs are suffering, with one death already! PG&E and SCE need to maintain grasses and trees so lines don’t have fuel to burn if they fall. We shouldn’t have to be in the dark!
