Let's forget all about the homeless and insane gas prices, and just focus on more gun control for law abiding citizens.

I'm honestly trying to find the "common sense" part of this. Really what am I missing? Less guns "on the street" but ppl who legally purchase aren't generally in the street with their guns. Ppl that are get what they need, when they need it. So what's this law actually for?

One gun a month? Why is this necessary?

It's not. Just inconveniences law abiding people under the guise of gun control. And it gives them something to do while they ignore the actual problems in CA.

Better background checks and a more demanding gun safety training and qualification requirement/test, I think would be a good thing. The "wait period" to get a gun is a good thing. Limiting purchasing (1/month) and making ammunition more difficult to get probably won't help.
